At A+T we take privacy and handling of personal data very seriously. We are are working within our organisation to review our approach to data privacy and make sure that it is in line with the GDPR requirements.
The intent of the regulation is to ensure that personal data is not compromised or used inappropriately. You can read the full GDPR legislation that is taking effect on the 25th of May on the GDPR website.
We are training all our staff to make sure that we are handling individual’s information correctly. We will also be removing obsolete records, and improving security for all exchanges of personal data. Our staff have clear guidance on what to do in the event of a data breach.
A+T may have the name, telephone number, email address, physical address and yacht or company association of some individuals. We keep these to either fulfill any contracts we have with these individuals or to provide additional technical information about A+T products and services or events. We do not hold any sensitive personal data.
We do use an external third party to deliver email newsletters on our behalf. We require all third parties to respect your personal data and treat it in accordance of the law. We do not allow our third party service providers to use your personal data for their own purposes.
