ATP1
Where the wiring is already in place with wind, speed, depth and other sensors and displays already run to the processor location then the ATP is supplied with in-case speed/temp/depth interface and wind interface.
This configuration is generally sufficient for most applications and there is room in the case for an additional interface card, typically an additional speed card or analogue card.
The ordering information for this is:
Any number of additional interface boxes can be added linked on Ethernet as below.
ATP2
A single Ethernet/power cable run through the yacht links all sensors and displays with interface boxes positioned to minimise discrete wiring.
Interface boxes are available for wind, speed/temp/depth, speed/depth, 4 x analogue plus 0-20mA and loadcell. There is no practical limit to the number of these that can be put on any system.
Displays are also run on the Ethernet network and waterproof network switches are supplied to link the network together.

ATPX
New in 2023 is the ATPX range of advanced processors. These combine the proven performance and reliability of the ATP1 and ATP2 with the ability for the user to write their own code using Node-RED to create and manipulate new variables and send these to displays.
It also supports Modbus/Ethernet interchange of data with a yacht plc system so that instrument data can get sent to Alarm and Monitoring system and engine data, load data and many other plc controlled parameters can be sent to the sail system for display.

Sailing Processor Interfacing and Connection Information
All interface cards are available in a waterproof box mounting linked via Ethernet.
Where shown below, some interfaces are available as cards to fit directly into the ATP case.
Speed/Sea Temp/depth. Takes pulse input from paddlewheel, water temperature and is a 170kHz depth sounder. Also has additional NMEA0183 input.
Speed/Sea Temp only. Takes pulse input from paddlewheel, water temperature. Also has additional NMEA0183 input.

Wind Speed/Angle. Takes pulse and angle input from B&G 213 type wind sensor (including vertical).
Analogue. Take 4 input voltages and 1 0-20mA input. 5v and 12v reference supplied.
DLA2 Loadcell. Drives all conventional load pins and load pads.
Switch. 5 port Ethernet switch with provision to inject additional power.
Junction box. 5 way junction box, perfect for Fastnet or CANbus connections with separable rails for power and signal.
